- The Peak District National Park is a upland area in central - northern England at the southern end of the Pennies
- Mostly in Derbyshire, it extends into Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.
- The highest point in the Peak District is Kinder Scout reaching 2,087 ft.(636 m)
- Most of the area is within the Peak District National Park a protected landscape designated in 1951.
- The top walks in the Peak District include scenic routes with varied terrains and breathtaking views.
- Some popular choices include the Mam Tor and Great Ridge walk, showcasing the fantastic panoramic views of the Hope and Edale Valleys.
- Other recommended walks are the Hathersage to Stanage Edge, Bakewell to Chatsworth, Chee dale Stepping Stones and Edale to Kinder Scout route.
- My personal favourite is Bamford Edge and the amazing views of Ladybower Reservoir.
- I do hope you like my work.
