Kildonan is a popular beach in Arran which lays to the south of the island.
Seal colonies can be spotted most mornings in Kildonan.
The name Kildonan is derived from a 6th century disciple called St. Donan, who came to Arran with St. Columba to evangelize the alleged heathen inhabitants of Kildonan.
The geological wonders of Kildonan Beach are amazing, displaying nature at it's best with it's unspoilt beauty.
The views of Ailsa Craig and Pladda Island are spectacular from Kildonan.
Kildonan is well worth a visit when visiting Arran.
I do hope you like my photography taken over a three year period.
